About the author

Robyn is a former librarian who has spent many years being interested in the history and current situation of Australia’s First Nations people – and the place Christianity has in it all. This interest led eventually to her and her husband Mark making annual visits to Alice Springs from 2014 onwards, helping in Christian Ministry and building friendships with the local people. In 2020, they moved to Alice Springs and lived there for almost three years.

While Robyn and Mark now live in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, they continue to visit Alice Springs for a few months every year – they have grown to love the town and the people there. They also dearly love to visit their own three sons (and grandchildren), who each live in different states of Australia.
